ah. it's a hopeless bit of meat.

it's a super warm day. almost like being home, though still a few degrees cooler.

i just had a HUGE serving of avocado + milk. it nearly killed me. the avo was HUMONGOUS and only 60cents.
i also had yesterday's lunch of frozen veggies. and some pistachios.
i made some mousse. actually i made it yesterday, but didnt have a chance to eat it. hmmm.

i finally sent the email to book my return flight. ah. i don't know how things will turn out. with my uni application and all.
it's getting quite annoying having this pesky date hanging around me like a raincloud. the most depressing wet blanket ever.

im also getting quite bored of reading harry potter. over and over again.
i'll just skim through the whole book and read just the juicy bits. and im reading it in reverse order -_- ( i started with deathly hallows.. im on the goblet of fire now.)

ok i just had some frozen jelly.
it wasnt meant to be frozen. jackie got impatient and put it in the freezer to set. and conveniently forgot about it. hence, frozen jelly.

boxing day sales~ riccarton mall was crowded but still ok la.
didnt buy much.

mostly because there isnt anything else to do

i feel like a pig!!! gahhhhhhhh tmr i start dieting, ok?
DIET!!!!!! i will only eat frozen veggies and egg pudding and kiwi. no to all other temptations!

i woke up and did what i always wanted to do!
i made the egg pudding and baked apples!

the egg pudding is ok la. the baked apple... didnt turn out as i wldve liked them to, but whatever.
and then baked some brownies. gave some to paul. some to debbie and co.

honestly the hours pass so quickly.

there's a million things to eat in the fridge. only yesterday we ate the lamb zen left in the freezer. jackie says its use by date was probably sometime last month.
it was really delicious tho :P

the budget mint choc thingies are quite good!

churchcorner today! we went to the asian shops and bought mochi! green tea mochi and peanut mochi! made in taiwan, where else? ok la. not bad.
then we had lunch at the chinese restaurant opposite yummy. i like the people there better.
jackie ordered fried rice. i had spring rolls.

and then it was to that mall behind. dunno what its called. nothing much there.

took a bus to riccarton mall. shopped. heeheehee. bought another pair of false lashes. and another pair of earrings. hahaha stupid la~

dinner was at mac. mcchicken for jac. i ate her fries and some cranberries. and another mochi. hahahahahahah then we came home, ate zen's leftover movenpick ice cream, and a muffin ^-^

today (and by today i mean thursday 18december) even though as i blog, it is 12:25am Friday the 19th.

i woke up at 1145am. took a bath.

around 1pm i ate a cup of cocoa puffs for 'brekpast',

took a nap on the couch. woke up with an achy neck.

at 4, i had one kiwi + 1 cup of green tea.

watched vampire knight somewhere along the way.

at 6, a bowl of meatballs/broccoli/mushroom thingy for dinner. half of which is still in the fridge.

at 8,
1/4 of a triple choc cookie time +1 cup of tea with milk

at 9pm, we took a walk thru lincoln town.
it's still light out.
9pm.


there was a playground in one of the pretty residential areas.

this is one of those rare times im actually wearing my glasses.
speaking of correction, my green contacts tore 2 or 3 weeks back. ive only worn them 1 week. KNN! !!! i know complaining about it now is really too late, but still.. #$%$#^#@!!!

ok. anyway
cold wet day!
makes you want to stay home the whole day. (we did)
makes you feel like sleeping the whole day (sorta did)
i kind of like it!

paul popped by just now. he just stood outside and talked about his weird antisocial housemates and not knowing what to do for the evening and wanting to eat cake. hahahahaha he's a funny guy.

nap in the afternoon was really funny.
i had weird dreams. of impossible things, it was like watching a comedy.
i LOL-d in my sleep. then again i think i was half asleep when i laughed.
i remember i was smiling the whole time.
jackie told me i was laughing. i think i heard her go 'huh?' while i laughed?
i was thinking 'haha jackie must be wondering why im laughing in my sleep. if only she could see this!'

which reminds me
isnt it weird how we 'see' things when we dream, but our eyes are not even open?
and all these images we see, they are just electrical signals firing off in our brains.
and it's not like we have a screen for these images to be projected on?
how are we seeing these things?

i shant say what i dreamt of. because it was totally ridiculous and corny.
i watch too much prison break. im dreaming of the mafia. i also think of food too much, cuz i dreamt i was eating chicken wings on a stick. like a kebab, but it was huge! it was a 1.5foot long kebab~~! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i hope i never get the email asking me back for an interview.
although that only means i get to stay one extra week here.

and then when i get back to singapore with an offer of placement i'll have to go to the doc's for a checkup. i hate those. i hate going to the clinic. hate hate hate hate hate even though i wish i could work in a clinic next time. but as an optometrist la. it sucks to be a patient.

AND hopefully, my skullcrushers don't f up. so far so good. i don't want to go back to harveynorman. im keeping my distance from it.

i woke up close to noon. took a bath. ate cocoa puffs for brekpast.
ate some chips for post-brekpast.
played djmax portable 2 a bit. staged failed many times (ive moved on to 5 buttons!)
right now i can only handle level 7 tracks with 5 buttons.
neighbors came to borrow the BBQ grill.
and then i did the laundry.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm don't quite remember where the afternoon went
maybe we started watching Prison Break.
ate half a cookie time with milk.
continued with PB.
made avocado milkshake. added cocoa puffs with that. very very filling. (Note to self: cocoapuffs are better with milk)

stopped at 7ish to cook dinner. (chicken salad with hummus!!!!!!!!!!!!!and frozen veggies!)
took the laundry in. fingers got numb. today has been the coldest day in summer so far.

essentially the same thing as a hot pack but way more fun!
when the egg cools down u can smash it on ur head (that's the part thats more fun)
there's no guarantee, but it might negate the effects of all those headscrubs. just so we can make sure no permanent damage was done :)
more importantly, ur haircut! was it inspired by PB? (the show la!)

last night we had a mountain of veggies and beef patties for dinner.
celery, onions, broccoli, asparagus and carrots.
it was actually not bad, especially with Roast Garlic hummus!!!!!!
i put in all 3 kinds of hummus we bought. heeheee
or maybe it was because i cut my finger while chopping the veggies and my blood made food taste good.

the odd thing is it happened because i grabbed the knife. the sharp edge. not the blunt one. HAHA what on earth was i thinking?!?
i probably wasnt thinking. yea..

meh. it wasnt deep. i shouldnt even call it a cut. more like a scratch. HAHA

well whatever.

after dinner we watched Constantine and Transformers till 2am. haha


didnt go out again today. cuz im lazy.
perhaps we'll catch a movie tmr?

ive thrown the moldy bread out to the backyard. for the birds. HAHA
